VOLUNTEER-DRIVEN
Daily administration, weekly services, ministries and leadership at MCF are all volunteer- driven efforts. With no paid staff, we are able to focus our resources and efforts on those who are a part of the community and the ministries we support. Members of this volunteer community provide both the passion and the action, carrying out our efforts in the Central Ohio area.

TEAM-LED
We take team-leadership seriously. The Board of Elders is made up of a group of individuals, each with varying gifts, passions and temperaments. They each oversee various aspects of MCF ministry and hold each other accountable. Through a variety of pleasant and less-than-pleasant experiences, they have learned to work together and continually pursue growth in their own relationships.

LEVERAGING SPIRITUAL GIFTS AND ABILITIES
God continues to grace MCF with wonderfully diverse spiritual gifts and abilities (I Corinthians 12:4-7). We appreciate and encourage that diversity, seeking to blend it to further the MCF mission. An especially important focus is to motivate and mature the spiritual gifting in the next generation so they will lead in advancing God's kingdom in their generation. We recognize that will only be possible as our hearts respond passionately, joyfully and sacrificially to God's amazing love.

PASSIONATELY CARING FOR ITS MEMBERS
The MCF community is also personified in passionate care for one another - a kind of care not described by Sunday check-ins, but everyday ways in everyday places... every day. Whether a hospital visit, a timely meal, marriage advice, a prayer meeting, or a listening ear, we seek to "restore one another in a spirit of gentleness." We hope to express and to serve each other in the reality of our needs and burdens, and to more fully understand the love of Christ in doing so.

PURSUING REAL IMPACT
Through meaningful interactions with others, whether singing together, listening to teachers, reading and discussing books together, enjoying a meal together or many of the other activities that MCF people enjoy, we notice real change, real growth in our relationships with others and with God. Then together, we pursue real impact in our neighborhoods, and then our world through our focused support for THE HARBOR, a ministry to orphans in St. Petersburg, Russia, and THE C.R.A.C.K. HOUSE MINISTRIES right here in Columbus.
