C.R.A.C.K. House Ministries was born to bring deliverance to those who
languish under the slavery of addiction. C.R.A.C.K. stands for Christ
Resurrects After Crack Kills. Though it is primarily a ministry to drug
abusers and their families, a variety of needful ministries are
branching from it. Many of those who serve in this ministry were once
bound by the chains of addiction, but through the grace of God and the
application of His Word they are now "strong in the Lord and in the
Power of His might" (Ephesians 6:10) and "more than conquerors."
(Romans 8:37).
CHM has a residential
housing program, where men can be housed for a time during their
recovery. In the "sober homes" and the main facility at 1910 Cleveland
Avenue, this ministry provides education, support, counseling, biblical
teaching and fellowship. Here the freedom that can be found in Christ
in made known.
CHM is also involved in
reaching addicts and those affected by addiction through a food
distribution program, weekly free lunch outreach coupled with
occasional cooking classes, some limited medical services.
Meadowbrook
Christian Fellowship is pleased to have been a major supporter of
C.R.A.C.K. House Ministries since its inception. Today, CHM is an
independent 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, supported by various
individuals, churches and organizations. Meadowbrook Christian
Fellowship is one of CHM's anchor churches.
